Craighton Recaps Minnesota Visit

Minnesota had Louisiana safety Alonzo Craighton in town this past weekend and he talks about his time in Minneapolis and more inside!

The Gophers had Geismar (LA.) Dutchdown senior safety Alonzo Craighton on campus this past weekend and got to take in the game day atmosphere at Minneapolis. He talks about his recent visit to Minnesota.

“It was good,” Craighton told GopherDigest. “I got to watch the game then go eat at Fogos and chill with the players. Food was good, but nothing like Louisiana and the players were cool. My favorite part of the visit had to be the game. The energy I felt was what I liked about it.”

The 6-2, 180-pound two star safety holds offers from Appalachian State, Louisiana Tech, Louisiana-Lafayette, Memphis and Minnesota. He is also hearing from Miami Fl, Mississippi and Mississippi State. Now, Craighton updates his recruitment and season.

“I’m interested in Minnesota,” said Craighton. “Naming a top list or a leader is not No. 1 on my mind about recruiting right now. I got at least 9 games left in high school. My season is going alright and I am playing well.”
