Gophers Lead For Hall

The Gophers recently went down into Alabama and extended a new offer out to Mobile (AL.) Murphy senior defensive end Mose Hall. Hear what he had to say about the offer and why Minnesota sits as his leader now

A state that the Gophers have had success in the past few years on the recruiting trail has been Alabama. They have landed a few guys like in last year’s class of defensive tackle Gary Moore and tight end Jerry Gibson. Now, they have targeted a new prospect to hopefully join the fold in Mobile (AL.) Murphy senior defensive end Mose Hall. The under the radar defensive lineman talks about his new offer, which was one he didn’t see coming.

“I was talking with Coach (Jay) Sawvel and I was very surprised by the offer,” Hall told GopherDigest. “I’ve been waiting on a big offer like this for the longest. I felt a big relief. I know that they have a great physical therapy program and that it is top ranked. They have a all around great educational program.”

By landing a Gopher offer, where does Minnesota sit for the 6-4, 250-pound physical defensive end in his recruitment?

“My first offer was from Alabama A&M, but I am very interested in Minnesota and they are my top school,” said Hall. “It is a very great program. I plan on visiting Minnesota pretty soon and I plan on playing for them.”
