Minnesota had several official visitors on campus this weekend and one of those visitors were Chaska (MN.) senior offensive tackle and Gopher commit, Bronson Dovich. The massive in-state offensive lineman talks about his experience at Minneapolis and his conversation with offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Matt Limegrover.
“We got to see all the football buildings, got to get a full tour of the stadium and had a long academic presentation,” Dovich told GopherDigest. “I got to visit Coach Kill at his house, spent some time with the players and all the food there was really good too. I talked to about every (coach), but Coach Limegrover said to keep lifting hard and putting on muscle and said to keep it up in the classroom.”
The 6-6, 285-pound tackle, who sits as the No. 72 ranked offensive tackle in the nation and a three star recruit by Scout - got to see a lot of things, eat a ton and much more, but the highlight of his trip was just relaxing with his future teammates and coaches.
“I would say spending time with all the coaches and players, said Dovich. “About every coach and most of the offensive line went out of their way to introduce themselves. They all treated me great and seemed like good people. I’m real excited to become a Gopher and can’t wait to contribute to the team.”
