Still Commits To Minnesota

Minnesota picks up their 20th commitment of their recruiting class with the addition of El Paso (TX.) Andrew senior wide receiver Rashad Still

The Gophers picked up their 20th commit on Saturday night when El Paso (TX.) Andrew senior wide receiver Rashad Still decided to pledge to Minnesota. He becomes the second wide receiver commit of the week joining Louisiana wide out Hunter Register. He talks about his decision to verbal to Minnesota.

“I really love Minnesota and can relate to the school,” Still told GopherDigest. “The people are great and it is a great opportunity. The food is great, the campus is the best and the school spirit is what I love most.”

The 6-5, 200-pound wide out was offered by assistant coach Pat Poore during his in-home visit, but decided while currently being on his official visit to Minnesota, he wanted to spend his next four years in Minneapolis. A big reason why was because of that relationship with Coach Poore.

“Coach Poore is my main recruiter and he’s the best,” said Still. “He sees potential in men and I’m going to stick with him through thick and thin.”

Now with Still in the fold, what does he plan on bringing to this football team?

“Hopefully, I can be a guy to look to in need of plays and being a great team player,” said Still.
