Gophers Offer Legacy Recruit

Minnesota extended an offer out to legacy recruit, MN LB Thomas Barber

Minnesota extended a new offer out to Plymouth (MN.) Robbinsdale Armstrong junior outside linebacker Thomas Barber. The under the radar Barber has picked up his first offer while on an unofficial visit to Minneapolis.

The 6-1, 225-pound physical linebacker has also been hearing from North Dakota, North Dakota State and Purdue.

The Gophers look to have a very good shot at landing Barber. He is also the younger brother of former Gophers and NFL players Marion Barber and Dom Barber.

Minnesota has yet to land a commit in their 2016 recruiting class. They also offered several other in-state recruits, but I feel they have the best shot to see Barber drop.
