Minnesota concluded their senior one days camps for the month of June on Sunday and one of the standouts from that camp was from Sioux Center (Iowa) in athlete Ko Kieft. GopherDigest spoke with Kieft following camp to hear more about his recruiting.

"I have offers from South Dakota, Northern Iowa and South Dakota State as well," Kieft said. "Iowa State, North Dakota State and Minnesota have been talking with me as well. I have some of the Missouri Valley camps left with South Dakota, South Dakota State and North Dakota. NDSU's is this weekend, but I don't remember the specific dates for the rest of the camps."

After coming in as an relatively unknown guy, Kieft made a name for himself Sunday.

"It went really well. I probably tested the best I have all summer for the 40 and pro agility," Kieft explained. "The position drills went really good as well since the coaches said I did a great job and they want to stay in touch. I worked with the defensive ends and tight ends and both Coach Reeves and Phelps told me that I did really well for not knowing very much in what I was doing. I primarily play linebacker in high school, so those two spots are new to me."

A Big Ten offer would be a dream come true for the Iowa athlete.

"Coach Kill spoke with me after and said that I did very well for running around and changing positions all the time, so they'll keep in touch. I really like the coaches there, but I have to check out the academics to see if they are good with me doing pre-med. A Minnesota offer would mean a lot as division one FBS football has been a huge dream of mine. I don't have a timeline for a decision, but if it happened before or during my season, that'd be nice."
