Minnesota is looking for one more cornerback in the 2016 class and one guy who could be in-line for an offer is Michigan's Justin Clark. GopherDigest.com spoke with Clark to learn more about his recruiting.

"In the month of June, it was crazy," Clark said about his recruiting. "I picked up four offers in just that one months while going to camps. I'm a soft commitment to Toledo, but I also have offers from Temple, Eastern Michigan, Kent State and Southern Illinois. Plus I've been talking to Minnesota and Pittsburgh lately. My last camp was Maryland and that was about two weeks ago. I thought it went well, but I got hurt at the beginning of the camp so I didn't get to do 1 on 1's and I was really mad about that. I'll be heading to Penn State probably in a couple of weeks."

Clark thinks he's close to his first big-time offers.

"Pitt's been saying they're interested and what to see more of me during the season," Clark explained. "They're close to pulling the trigger as well I think as I've been talking a lot with the defensive backs coach, Coach Hill. With Minnesota, I talk to Coach Sawvel through direct messaging on Twitter almost everyday since they saw me at Sound Body Sound Mind. That's when I first started talking to them and they liked what I did in 1 on 1's and started contacting me ever since. They've been saying something could happen later down the road. He's also been saying how they have to replace their secondary and he's wondering if I'm one of those guys that he can do that with. He tells me their type of majors and what their education system is all about. They are taking it slow and want to see some early tape of my senior year."

Clark has a few friends that are now at Minnesota.

"My friends Ray Buford and Dior Johnson are now freshmen there," Clark said. "We got to know each other from football and actually played against each other in our crossover game last year. It would mean a lot to pick up my first power five offer from Minnesota. It would give me a great opportunity to go to a really good school and it would certainly further my recruiting and give me a great chance to pick up more big offers such as Minnesota. Overall, I just would be happy that they gave me the opportunity to come and play there. I'm already committed to Toledo, but other opportunities like Minnesota could certainly flip me to their school. Only time will tell."
