Minnesota is looking to add another big for their 2016 class and one forward that received an offer today was Arkansas's Eric Curry. GopherDigest spoke with Curry to learn more about his Gopher offer.

"I was offered by Arkansas and Minnesota today," Curry said. "Coach Anderson from Arkansas and Coach Ben Johnson from Minnesota were the ones that offered and I've been in touch with both those schools for awhile now. I've also heard a lot from SMU, Saint Louis, Iowa State, Alabama, Arkansas, Western Kentucky, Oklahoma State and Iowa of late."

Minnesota is the latest school to get in on the Arkansas power forward.

"Minnesota told me that they loved watching me playing during each live period in the spring and then during the Peach Jam as well," Curry explained to GopherDigest.com. "They think that I git very well in their style of play and in their program. I know a little bit about Minnesota in that their style of play resembles Louisville and I know where their campus is at in Minneapolis. I know little bit about Coach Pitino and that it can get very cold up there."

Curry is working on showing college coaches a few different things this summer.

"I'm really working hard on my consistency and being able to be more versatile as in playing on the perimeter. I want people to know what I can give them day in and day out and I want to be able to step out on the perimeter and create mismatches for opposing teams when I have slow bigs on me."

A decision date hasn't yet been finalized by the rising big man.

"I don't know on a date yet as that's something I have to talk about with my family," Curry said. "I mean I'm still very much open as in my recruiting, but I'm very interested in Minnesota with this new offer as I think I can fit their style of play. I will be taking some visits in August and September, but I don't know where to yet."
