"I'll be taking an official visit to Minnesota this upcoming weekend," Florida OLB Andre Polk said to GopherDigest. "I'll be getting up there on Friday and I'll be the only one coming with from my family."
The Fort Myers linebacker is excited to see what Minnesota and the Twin Cities are about.
"What I'm looking forward to most is just seeing if it's a great fit for me," Polk explained. "I'm looking to see what the people are about, and also seeing the facilities and surroundings as well. I've been talking about linebacker's coach Mike Sherels a lot and he's been just telling that he's ready to get me up there so he can show me what they're all about. He said they're looking at me as an outside linebacker."
Polk still wants to take more visits after his first official visit to Minnesota this weekend.
"My interest level is Minnesota is looking pretty good right now," Polk told GopherDigest. "I'm not sure why, but I just have good feelings about them. I'm still open to anyone and I'm not sure when I'll be making a decision yet. I think just after I finish my visits and I get some time to think, but we'll see."
