"I'm really looking forward to the game itself," Dredrick Snelson said about his upcoming Minnesota official visit. "I also want to see the game atmosphere and how the Gophers use their key players. I just want to have that "home away from home" feeling when I leave. I also want to see what campus is like and hang out with the coaches more. My mom is coming up with me on Friday I believe, so it should be a good time."
Minnesota's coaching staff is excited to have Snelson see all that the U has to offer.
"They've been saying that they can't wait to get me up there and to come be special in their offensive system," Snelson told GopherDigest. "It sounds good to me, but when I get up there and see for myself how comfortable I really am with everything, that will determine everything going forward. Louisville and UCF want me to visit and I have a visit set to UCF in January, but I haven't set one up with Louisville yet."
The Florida wide receiver is still committed to Minnesota, but plans to keep his options open.
"I'm still with Minnesota, but until signing day, I'm still listening to schools."
