"On Saturday, I had the chance to tour the stadium which was phenomenal, also loved seeing housing and also loved the facility tour we had," Eden Prairie defensive tackle Connor Novak-Goar said to GopherDigest. "That night, we all went to Fogo de Chao, which was amazing. Today, we had an academic breakfast and a meeting with Coach Claeys."
Novak-Goar was very familiar with his host from the weekend.
"Blake Cashman was my host, and since he had gone to Eden Prairie, I already knew him," Novak-Goar explained. "He was good to hang around with again. Coach Phelps and Claeys both told me how they loved how I played and love what to offer Minnesota."
Unfortunately for the Eden Prairie defensive tackle, he did receive some news he didn't want to hear this morning.
"Well I had talked to Coach Sherels and he had informed me that I was not able to get into the school. I will most likely be attending Iowa Western to be able to get into Minnesota."
