GopherDigest.com: What is your current height and weight? What weight would the Minnesota staff like you to report at this summer?
AW: 5'10" and 198 lbs. I don't have a certain weight they want me to be at.
GopherDigest.com: What are your individual and team goals you hope to accomplish during your college career?
AW: Individual goals would be that I want to win the Thrope Award, and as a team, I want to win the Big Ten Championship.
GopherDigest.com: What are you looking to work on the most this spring to prepare yourself for Big Ten football?
AW: Working on my coverage skills and also getting bigger, stronger and faster. I have to work on getting used to the speed of the game in the Big Ten.
GopherDigest.com: What future moment are you looking forward to the most as a Golden Gopher?
AW: I'm looking forward to winning a national championship.
GopherDigest.com: What was the main reason you chose to attend the University of Minnesota?
AW: I just felt like I could be successful at Minnesota.
GopherDigest.com: What team do you want to beat the most as a Gopher and why?
AW: Ohio State because my dad went there.
GopherDigest.com: Is there any unfinished academic business or are you all set to enroll at Minnesota?
AW: All set to enroll.
GopherDigest.com: If you don't make it to the NFL, where do you see yourself in 10 years?
AW: Somewhere on the beach relaxing.
GopherDigest.com: What is it about Coach Claeys and the coaching staff that makes you want to play for them?
AW: They're all great guys and I feel like they can make me a better player.
GopherDigest.com: What is something you learned about the University of Minnesota that surprised you during the recruiting process?
AW: Nothing really surprised me. I just liked the program and everything when I visited.
GopherDigest.com: What position do you expect to play at Minnesota? What other position did the Gopher staff mention as a possibility?
AW: Corner, nickel or safety. I don't care which that I play.
GopherDigest.com: What have the coaches told you regarding how they plan to utilize your strengths as a player?
AW: They said they plan of using me early on at nickel because they want me in the box to cover.
GopherDigest.com: Have you had any communication with other Minnesota recruits and if so what?
AW: Yeah we have a group message that we're all in together and chat.
GopherDigest.com: What player do you model your game after and why?
AW: I model my game game after Earl Thomas and Tyann Mathieu because they're my two favorite safeties and I like their playing styles.
