GopherDigest.com: What is your current height and weight? What weight would the Minnesota staff like you to report at this summer?
MW: 6'1.5", 182 lbs. I need to get up to 195-200 lbs by the summer.
GopherDigest.com: What are your individual and team goals you hope to accomplish during your college career?
MW: Individual goal is to win the starting position and the team goal is to lead my team to a championship.
GopherDigest.com: What are you looking to work on the most this spring to prepare yourself for Big Ten football?
MW: Getting my weight up so I'll be able to take more hits and not be so fragile.
GopherDigest.com: What future moment are you looking forward to the most as a Golden Gopher?
MW: Standing in front of thousands of people playing the game I love.
GopherDigest.com: What was the main reason you chose to attend the University of Minnesota?
MW: It's was a division one football school in a big-time conference.
GopherDigest.com: What team do you want to beat the most as a Gopher and why?
MW: Ohio State. It'll be a big game and I will experience better things.
GopherDigest.com: Is there any unfinished academic business or are you all set to enroll at Minnesota?
MW: All set.
GopherDigest.com: If you don't make it to the NFL, where do you see yourself in 10 years?
MW: Somewhere in the workforce.
GopherDigest.com: What is it about Coach Claeys and the coaching staff that makes you want to play for them?
MW: Coach Claeys' personality is much like mine where we don't talk very much, but get the job done.
GopherDigest.com: What is something you learned about the University of Minnesota that surprised you during the recruiting process?
GopherDigest.com: What position do you expect to play at Minnesota? What other position did the Gopher staff mention as a possibility?
MW: Quarterback only.
GopherDigest.com: What have the coaches told you regarding how they plan to utilize your strengths as a player?
MW: We really haven't talked about the yet. It's been more about taking care of me and making me a better person.
GopherDigest.com: Have you had any communication with other Minnesota recruits and if so what?
GopherDigest.com: What player do you model your game after and why?
MW: Cam Newton. He will be a legend one day and he's a great player. He's always giving the balls to kids after every touchdown and that's awesome to me.
