"I'm really excited to finally get to see Minnesota's campus for the first time," Illinois defensive lineman Jacub Panasiuk said to GopherDigest. "I've heard great things about it from my former teammate Antonio Shenault and so I'm really looking forward to seeing what they have to offer. I'm going to be on campus around one and leave the same day around four."
The Illinois defensive lineman visited Iowa State last weekend.
"The visit was nice as I got to catch up with a lot of the coaches. The campus was nice also. Their location was a long car ride from home and it was in the middle of nowhere. I'm not quite sure yet what kind of city I want to play in as I still have to see other campuses to figure that out."
Panasiuk is wide open coming into this weekend's Minnesota visit.
"As of right now I'm open to any school that wants to recruit me. I don't have a certain higher interest in any school. I'll start to decide that later on. The most important thing I look for on these visits is I want to be able to walk on campus and feel like I'm at home. I'm not sure I've gotten that feeling yet as I haven't really gone on a lot of visits on my own. I have always gone as my brothers "guest" to a lot of the visits, so I never took it as it was for me. I got a lot out of it, but it was his time to take in everything. Really looking forward to seeing what Minnesota is like this weekend."
