GopherDigest's Spring Spotlight: Gary Moore

With the Gophers starting spring ball, GopherDigest takes a look at some current players that could have breakout spring for Minnesota and we now spotlight sophomore defensive tackle Gary Moore.

After injuries forced defensive tackle Gary Moore to play as a true freshman in 2014, Minnesota was able to redshirt the Alabama native this past season and during that redshirt season, Moore earned Defensive Work Team player of the year honors.

With defensive tackle a place where Minnesota struggled to have healthy big bodies in 2015, Moore should be able to step in this spring and continue off a strong redshirt season and be in the rotation this fall.Moore is all of 6'4" 300 lbs and the key for him is going to be keep that motor going every practice and keeping his pad level low. If Moore can keep building of his redshirt season, he should see a lot of reps for the Golden Gophers this fall.
