"I've received a couple of new offers of late from Bowling Green and Central Michigan," Illinois offensive lineman Kendrick Green said to GopherDigest. "I also have offers from Western Michigan and Illinois State and received offers in the last 24 hours from South Dakota State and Wyoming, plus Minnesota has been showing interest in the last few weeks, so things are going well."
The Gophers offensive line coach has been keeping taps on Green of late.
"I spoke on the phone with their OL coach Bart Miller a couple times here in the last couple of weeks," Green explained to GopherDigest. "He's told me that they're very close to offering and hopefully it'll be soon. They love my athleticism and physicality and he said that he just needed to get to know me a bit better. I would love to get up there and see what the University has to offer."
An official visit to Minnesota could be in the works for the Peoria standout.
"I'm gonna take an official up there, but I'm not sure when," Green told GopherDigest. "My coach informed me that that's what's going to happen, but I've heard the campus is beautiful and that they are looking to win the B1G West this year! During the off-season here, I'm working on definitely gaining good weight, and being a better team leader this season."
