"I've heard a lot from Minnesota, Purdue, Michigan State, Duke and Wake Forest and they've been pretty good with me along with Georgia Southern," Cartersville (Ga.) athlete Trey Creamer said to GopherDigest. "I'd say things are going pretty well in my recruiting."
Minnesota is Creamer's latest Big Ten offer.
"Coach Anderson is the Minnesota coach that offered me," Creamer explained to GopherDigest. "He loved my energy in the weight room as he liked how I got after it and pumped up the players before the workout, and that's just me being myself. He liked all those things about me, and then he loved me firm, so he wanted to offer. Loved my energy level and believes I would be an asset to the team. I wasn't expecting an offer as it was the first time I've heard from them, so I was excited! I'm ready to get on a visit, so I can see their campus. I don't know too much about them except I know their running back Shannon Brooks. I'd love to take a visit and see what's it's like there as I know how fast they play there at Minnesota and that's caught my eye. My offer from them is as an athlete too."
Creamer has more visits here coming in the next few weeks.
"I'll be visiting Wake Forest on June 3rd and I'll also be camping at Clemson and most likely Oregon's camp too. I just want coaches to know that I'm a hard worker and I don't back down from challenges and I never quit. I'm looking at making a decision during the middle of the summer because then I wouldn't have to worry about it going into my senior year. I want to focus on my school and helping my team win a state title."
