"I'll be leaving Oklahoma at 4 AM tomorrow morning to start the drive up to Minnesota," Tulsa (Okla.) Union linebacker Kyrei Fisher said to GopherDigest. "My brother, my uncle and my mother are going to be joining me on 10 hour drive from Tulsa to Minneapolis, so it'll be a family affair."
Fisher and family are looking forward to seeing the University of Minnesota for the first time.
"We're going to be able to check out the campus and talk with the coaches, and just get more acquainted with everything that the Gophers have to offer," Fisher explained to Scout. "I've been talking a lot with coach Sherels and what we're looking forward to most about the visit is just to get a feel for the city and the people who live in it. We're also looking forward to seeing the campus and academics and so on and so forth about Minnesota. I'm probably going to stay in the hotel with my family, but I might stay with some of the players too. I don't know yet."
"I have very high interest in Minnesota coming into the weekend," Fisher told GopherDigest. "I'm excited with everything that Minnesota has to offer and I've heard great things. If everything feels right and checks out this weekend, I'll talk to my people and pray on it, but there is the potential that I could commit. As far as if I'll be done with recruiting, it would depend on what my people said, but I'm a loyal person. I'll tell you that much. I don't have any visits planned after Minnesota."
