"I talked with coach Tommerdahl and he said they made the decision to offer me," Minnesota kicker Grant Ryerse said to GopherDigest. "They're interested in the way I can fit into their specialist needs. Cal has been in my top three schools for awhile now, so it was exciting to get the offer from them."
"I spoke with coach Hankwitz from Northwestern and he said he talked with coach Fitz and they thought that I would fit in well into their specialist schemes, so they wanted to offer as well. Northwestern is another school that's been in my top three, plus with the Wildcats, I've gotten to know the coaches more because I've been on campus three times already."
With offers now from everyone of his top schools, Ryerse wants to have a decision here in the coming months.
"My top three in no order is Minnesota, Northwestern and Cal," Ryerse explained. "There's not a lot new with Minnesota, with coach O'Brien came into visit my school this week. I'm looking at going to Cal, Northwestern and Minnesota camps next month, and that's all I have planned for camps/visits. I want to make my decision sometime this summer, so I'm able to focus on our season when that comes around. I'll take these last visits to each school and make a decision from there."
