"Coach Poore is the Minnesota coach that offered me," Cibolo (Texas) defensive tackle Joshua Croslen said to GopherDigest. "He started first with giving me the offer. Then he talked about the Texas weather compared to Minnesota and he asked about my family, school interest, and what I wanted to study. Then gave me a lot of good information about Minnesota and the campus. He told me that they wanted to offer as the defensive coaches all liked the way I played and that they liked the type of person I am."
"I'm excited about this new offer," Croslen mentioned to Scout.com. "I'm definitely going to try and take a visit up there before school starts. I don't really know much about the Gophers other than what coach Poore told me, but the stuff he said made me interested. Their location for me isn't a problem either. I don't really have a list yet, but Minnesota is in strong consideration for me. It means a lot for Minnesota to be my first power-five conference offer, as I'm really excited about it. I haven't talked with my parents about visiting yet, but I plan to soon."
Croslen wants a decision before the start of his senior season.
"I went to the UMHB mega camp earlier this summer, but I haven't been anywhere else, and nothing is really planned yet. I'm looking at having a decision sometime before the season, because if the worst happens and if I get hurt, then I can still have a school honor the commitment."
