"I get into Minnesota this Friday," Oregon defensive back Demetrius Douglas said to GopherIllustrated. "I'm planning on taking an unofficial visit to the U on Saturday and then attending their BBQ that night, but I won't be participating in the camp. My dad will be there the whole time on Saturday, and my mom and sister will be there up until the BBQ, so we're looking forward to the visit."

The Gophers have been in constant contact with Douglas over the last couple of weeks.

"Minnesota has been letting me know that they're pumped to have me on campus again this weekend," Douglas explained to GopherIllustrated. "They've been sending me a lot of pictures and information about the campus and stadium to keep me interested. I'm very excited about Minnesota right now as I grew up going to the games, but it will be interesting seeing the campus and stadium from a different perspective. I've been talking the most with coach Sherels and Sawvel and Sherels has been mostly just checking in to see how things are and sending me different edits and what not. The thing I'm probably looking forward to most about this weekend is getting a feel for the campus and being able to talk with the coaches in person."

"I'm definitely still interested in the Gophers and like I said, I'm really looking forward to the visit. I don't have any visits planned after this one, but the next step will be to continue weighing my options and prepare for my senior year. I don't have any set plans for a decision yet, but once I feel comfortable with a school, I'll make a decision. I also don't have a preference between wide receiver and corner, but I realize how scarce corners can be compared to receivers."
