Top 50 defensive tackle Joshua Croslen is "very interested" in the Golden Gophers following his unofficial visit to Minnesota

"I was able to tour the Minnesota campus and football facilities, plus I talked to the coaches and the players," Texas DT Joshua Croslen said to GopherIllustrated. "Everybody at Minnesota was really nice. I thought the campus was great as it was beautiful and really clean. They're football facilities are great too. Everything they have at Minnesota is really nice."

"I talked mostly with defensive line coach Jeff Phelps," Croslen explained to GopherIllustrated. "He told me that he wanted to coach me, but he's not going to pressure me into anything. He said he saw me as someone that could play early for them, and that sounded good to me. My mother enjoyed herself at Minnesota as well. She was impressed. I'd say my favorite part of the visit was talking with all the players and coaches, because everybody was really nice and I got to know them as well. I'm comfortable with Minnesota now."

The Gophers are in a good place with a decision likely soon for Croslen.

"This visit to Minnesota made me very interested in the Gophers," Croslen told GI. "I'm still planning on a decision prior to my season, and Minnesota is in high consideration for me. I don't have a specific date for my decision right now. I just know I want one before my senior season."
