"Friday afternoon I got a chance to see the city and get a feel for it. Early Saturday morning before the camp, I got a chance to get a tour of the campus and the facilities, and then I camped with Minnesota that afternoon," 2018 defensive tackle Elijah Teague said to GI. "The city is beautiful and the people there are very friendly. The campus at Minnesota was awesome, as I loved how the campus was on the outskirts of the city. The facilities were great too as I loved their locker room."
"The camp went great as I really learned a lot and got to meet and work with a lot of Gopher coaches," Teague explained to GI. "I worked a lot with coach Phelps, the DL coach, and he's a great guy that gave me a lot of good feedback. He said that I did great, and to look forward to an offer in the next few weeks from Minnesota. A Gopher offer would mean a lot as it would show that all my hard work and dedication is paying off."
Teague may be back on campus at Minnesota here in a few weeks.
"I'm actually trying to come back at the beginning of August," Teague said about another potential Minnesota visit. "I came down with my coach the other week, and would love for me to see and experience Minnesota so she can get a feel for it as well. I've been talking with coach Phelps about that, so we'll see if it falls into place. Minnesota is definitely at the top of my list right now even though they haven't offer, because of the few schools I have visited, Minnesota feels the most like home and it's a place where I could potentially see myself going to school."
