"I've been hearing a lot from Minnesota, Navy, Louisville, Army, California and Western Kentucky as of late," Miami corner DeWayne Terry said to GopherIllustrated. "Minnesota has remained strong has remained consistent and Mike Sherels has been honorable throughout the process by backing up what he says with pictures of the campus. Navy has also been focused on me and really can't wait for me to see the campus, Louisville wants me to come out again and have another great experience, California wants me to come out on an official visit, Army sent their official letter for their offer, and also Dartmouth has been contacting me for my scores."
"I had been talking with coach Sherels almost everyday up until recently," Terry explained to Scout.com. "He was telling me about some of health struggles of late, and I had been praying for him a lot, so I'll continue to do that. He'd been trying almost everyday to get me up to campus as he shows me the activities the team participates in and it makes me want to be there. I see Minnesota in the top because of the vibe I get from the coach and I can see myself there because I thrive in a family type atmosphere. I haven't scheduled any official visits with anyone yet, but those will likely after the season, but maybe I can sneak one in during our bye week."
Terry knows his decision will come when it feels right.
"I feel that once I visit my top schools the decision will become clear on who I should choose."
