"My season so far has been going great," Florida offensive lineman and Gopher commit Corey Gaynor said to GopherIllustrated. "I'm working to be an all-state player and I have 33 pancakes in two games, so my film is proving my hard work. I think the biggest thing between junior and senior year has just been my effort and work ethic. I always have something to prove and I've been playing with a chip on my shoulder and I'm always hungry for more. I'm also up to 290 lbs now as well. I've been talking with the other Minnesota commits in a group chat we have, as we talk every week. We're always talking about Minnesota, our seasons and when everyone is setting visits. I haven't heard from any other colleges besides Minnesota lately."
"My flight up to Minnesota leaves at 4 PM today and I'll be there through the game on Saturday," Gaynor explained. "Coach Miller has been telling me how excited everyone is that I'm coming up there this weekend. I'll just be by myself, and I'm looking forward to everything about my visit as I've never seen Minnesota before. I probably want to see TCF Bank Stadium the most, but I'm excited about everything. I'm feeling great about Minnesota still as I absolutely love every aspect of the Gophers and I'm still 100% committed no doubt. Ski-U-Mah!"
