"Minnesota offered me back last month and we immediately set an official visit for this weekend," Bruce Judson said to GopherIllustrated. "Coach Reeves is the one that offered and he is real, real good friends with my head football coach John Wilkinson. Reeves came and saw me last month, and was going to watch a game later too, but the hurricane messed everything up and they watched my film as a staff and everybody liked it. We talked about like for 45 minutes saying how they can get me the ball and need playmakers. They want me as potentially a running back / slot receiver / kick and punt returner, so they really want to get the ball in my hands, so which fine by me."
"All the coaches this week have been telling that they need an explosive guy from Florida up there like me to be a game changer. I'll be coming up on early Saturday morning with my mom and sister, and maybe girlfriend too. I'd say what I'm looking forward to most about visiting Minnesota this weekend is just seeing something different. Florida has some things that Minnesota has, and Minnesota has some things that Florida doesn't, so I'm interesting to just get away and see how it is to be away from home."
Minnesota is certainly going to be a learning experience for Judson.
"I've never been to Minnesota before and I don't know really anything about them, so I'm excited to see what it's like. All I know is I love their football staff from the conversations I've had with them, and I love how they're playing football right now. I don't care what position I play as long as I play as a freshman and am able to help my team win. There's a possibility that I could flip to Minnesota if the visit goes well, but if the visit is good, they will get a hat in my top 3 on National Signing Day as that's when I want to make a final decision. I want Gopher fans to be showing a lot of love to a Florida boy when I'm up on the visit and I'm ready to see something new. Ski-U-Mah!"
