"We got to go to the Minnesota basketball game, which was really fun, and I also got to see other kids that's been offered and hang out with them to convince them to become Golden Gophers," East Ridge (Minn.) running back and Minnesota commit Dominik London said to GI. "Overall it was a great time. We also got to watch practice on Saturday and it was a lot like the summer camp I went to in the summer where they do drills, but I think it was fun to watch."
"My host for the visit was Kamal Martin and I've been friends with him for awhile, as he's a great guy," London explained. "His message to me was to be in shape when you get to Minnesota this summer. Coach Poore was telling me that he was excited to have me and can't wait until we get the show on the road when I get there this summer. Claeys was telling me basically the same thing too. My family came with and they think I'm going to be spoiled when I get there. They were also impressed and they are very excited for me to come to Minnesota. My favorite part of the visit was just being with the team and getting a feel of how I'm going to feel where I get there, and I feel good."
Minnesota isn't the only Big Ten school sniffing around London.
"Iowa's been trying to talk to me some. They called and asked my head coach if I was solid with the Gophers and he said yes because I am solid to Minnesota. Can't wait to be a Gopher."
