"We went to the Mall of America and went to a virtual reality arcade while we were there," Oregon wide receiver Demetrius Douglas said to GopherIllustrated.com. "We also toured the campus, stadium, and facilities, got to tour the new Vikings stadium, and hung out with the football players. My host for the visit was Carter Coughlin, and he was great. He made sure I had a good time. Our dads played together while at Minnesota. Carter's message to me what the Minnesota was a special place that won't only turn me into a great football player, but also a great person."
"I mostly spoke with coach Simon, and he mainly talked with my family to get to know me and my parents better. He said he was excited for me to get there and be a part of the program. Coach Fleck talked about how excited he was to have me and what was next in the process. He also got to know some of my extended family also. I'm feeling great about Minnesota and can't wait to get there this summer. I'm excited to be a part of the program, and I can't wait to talk with coach Simon tomorrow when he comes out to see me."
