2019 Illinois safety Sebastian Castro takes in Minnesota following his Gophers offer

2019 Illinois safety Sebastian Castro takes in Minnesota following his Gophers offer, and he spoke about it with GopherIllustrated.

"The Minnesota visit was great as I loved all the energy," 2019 Illinois safety Sebastian Castro said to GopherIllustrated. "Minnesota has a big campus and they have nice facilities, but they're only going to get better when their done finishing the one in progress. I've never seen anything like Minnesota's practice because it was so high tempo and people were constantly moving."

"I also talked a lot with coach Callahan and head coach P.J. Fleck," Castro explained to Scout.com. "Coach Callahan is the coach that recruits my area.  So far I have a good relationship with him as he was just saying how he's excited to have me on campus and hopes to have me back soon. With coach Fleck, we sat down in his office and he asked me some personal questions  but how is also excited to have me. he's different than a lot of guys because the energy he brings with him. He's one of the few coaches you're going to meet that are like him. I'd say my favorite part of the visit was the practice and everyone is constantly moving. After this Minnesota visit I'm very interested now honestly. I just really like the coaches and how they make everyone on the same page to win. I'm pretty sure my family liked the Minnesota as much as I did. I'm very interested in Minnesota now."
