One. Howard Pulley Panthers.

Why?  The Panthers have committed Daniel Oturu, shooting guard Gabe Kalscheur, and Tre Jones who are all offered plus Jarvis Thomas who they’ve also watched.  Oturu is committed, Kalschuer is coming off a fantastic weekend shooting the ball and is a top Gopher shooting target, and Minnesota is one of six Jones has mentioned.  Jones visited Minnesota just over a week ago. The Panthers are in Indianapolis and it’s expected that Richard Pitino will be a constant game to game.

Two. D1 Minnesota.

Why? Race Thompson.  Matthew Hurt is also on the team but has a broken hand so the Gophers will be watching Thompson with eyes on some of the others as well, like 2020 center Dain Dainja.  Thompson is the main one though. Assistant Ben Johnson will be in Atlanta watching them.

Three. PSA Cardinals.

Why? Jake Forrester and Isaiah Mucius.  Jake is the player that Minnesota just offered as another PF target plus Mucius is a player they offered last July.  PSA is one of the elite EYBL teams playing in Indianapolis and they are loaded with talent.  Expect Pitino and assistant Kimani Young to have eyes on their games.

Four. Boo Williams.

Why? Keyontae Johnson.  Boo Williams is undefeated as Keldon Johnson has been amazing, but they are deep with guys like Johnson producing as well.   Pitino watched him regularly last weekend and I would expect to view just as often in Indy.

Five.  New Heights.

Why?  Most likely because they do.  Isaiah Washington and Dupree McBrayer are New Heights veterans and the Gophers always seem to be offering the New Heights players.  They have offered Sidney Wilson and Moses Brown although these are prospects that have seem to be staying out East.  We will see. If the Gophers are lurking again it will likely be Young.

Six. Iowa Barnstormers.

Why? AJ Green.  AJ has visited Minnesota as much as anybody and Minnesota will have Ben Johnson in Atlanta watching the Barnstormers as Green leads playing both guard spots.

Seven. Team Melo.

Why?  This is Brendan Adams, the Virginia guard that the Gophers offered over the winter.

Eight. Omaha Crusaders.

Why?  Brady Heiman’s team.  Another team that is with Adidas playing in Atlanta that Ben Johnson can watch and Johnson has been the coach connecting with Heiman.

Nine. Team BBC.

Why?  Montez Mathis is coming off a quality weekend scoring the basketball, Johnson will be in Atlanta watching Montez.

Ten. Team Charlotte

Why?  Newly offered Jaylen Sims plays on the UAA circuit with Team Charlotte.  Sims most recent offer came from Boston U after the Gophers offered.

Eleven. WeR1.

Why?  Tyrese Martin is a wing for one of the best 17U teams out there, WeR1.  Martin and Eric Ayala are a scary combo running the floor. Kimani Young watched Martin last weekend.

Twelve. Indiana Pros/Gary Harris Elite

Why?  Eric Hunter.  With all of the local schools on Hunter will Minnesota keep on him?  If they are they will see him in Atlanta.
