"Minnesota had been showing a lot of interest as they'd came to my high school two times and coach P.J. Fleck had been texting me everyday as they wanted me to come to camp, but they decided to offer me on Sunday night," Jack Plumb said to GopherIllustrated. "I called coach Fleck that night and he said they were very interested in me since day one and that I fit the culture of a Minnesota football player. They said that the offer is at tight end or offensive line as they're not sure what my body will form into, but they will try me at both. I visited Minnesota for their Junior Day back in March, and I really liked the facilities and what they are building right now seem super nice once they get finished."
"As far as my interest in Minnesota now that they've offered, they're definitely up there and I like them a lot," Plumb explained to Scout.com. "I was very happy and excited when coach Fleck said he was going to offer me. My parents loved my previous Minnesota visit and they like that it's not too far from home."
The in-state Badgers haven't offered yet, but are keeping tabs on Plumb.
"Wisconsin says they're still really interested in me, but want me to go to camp," Plumb told Scout.com. "I'm not sure about camping anywhere as of right now."
Two schools will be getting visits here in the near future for the Wisconsin standout.
"I'm going to Iowa next week, and I'm trying to get to Minnesota as soon as I can as well. I want to make a decision before my senior season, but whenever I know it's right, I will make my decision."
