"I went to the Minnesota Golden Gophers camp at NCC on Tuesday, and it went pretty well," Illinois athlete Charles Robinson said to Scout.com. "Coach P.J. Fleck said I was the best wide receiver there that day and they wanted to offer me as a wide out. He also said I could play outside linebacker for them, but I only worked at wide receiver at their camp, so it's a wide receiver offer. This offer means a lot to me because Minnesota really believes in me as their my first Big Ten offer and I loved that."
"I'll definitely be doing my best to make it to Minnesota for a visit over this summer," Robinson explained. "I also know Tyrik Henderson pretty well as we've been roommates before on the Boom 7v7 team when we traveled to Detroit and it was really fun. Minnesota's definitely in my top three now with Mississippi State and Iowa State because of this new offer and the relationship I have with them. As far as future visits, I plan on visiting Iowa in future weeks, but no other camps are planned. I'm hoping for a decision around the end of our summer camp."
