"Things at the camp on Monday went great as I had a good talk with the Gopher coaches about me and my future," Florida defensive end Mychal Austin said to GopherIllustrated. "I talked with coach Mo, defensive line coach Bryce Paup and head coach P.J. Fleck the most. Coach Fleck said he really liked my work ethic at camp and he thinks I would play a big part on the field as a freshman. They liked me at defensive end."

"Coach Paup liked how good I am as a pass rusher and how quick my feet are for my size," Austin explained. "Coach Fleck said they have zero guys on the defensive line after this year and they need to get some player up front. For Minnesota to be my first big-time offer, it means the world to me that they really have so much trust and faith in me. They are definitely on top for me and I'm definitely thinking about taking a visit up there. Next week, I'm going to Coastal Carolina, ECU and UCF."
