"I actually visited Minnesota last Friday and I talked with several coaches, toured the campus, talked with a guy from the engineering department and toured the new Athletes Village," Lakeville (Minn.) North offensive lineman Nathan Boe said to GopherIllustrated. "I camped with Minnesota on June 2nd and talked with coach P.J. Fleck directly after camp and he liked my performance and so he invited me back on Friday and then to their padded Big Man camp on Saturday."
"On my visit, I talked a lot with coach Simon, Warinner and Fleck," Boe explained. "Coach Simon said he's excited to see me at camp on Saturday and coach Warinner talked with me about their offense and about their upcoming camp. Coach Fleck on Friday talked about the camp and his philosophy and about the culture change going on at Minnesota now. As far as a possible offer, I will have to compete and do well specifically in one-on-one's. If I do well, I will have a good shot at Rowing the Boat. If I were to earn that offer, an opportunity at playing Big 10 football for my home-state would be special. I love Minnesota and it would mean the world to me if I do get blessed with a scholarship from Minnesota. I'll also be camping at NDSU and potentially South Dakota State, but we'll see how things go this weekend."
