ESPN to televise the next two Gopher games

The University of Minnesota's upcoming football games against both Northwestern in Evanston, Ill., on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m., and Michigan at the H.H.H. Metrodome on Friday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m., will be televised by one of the ESPN networks.

The Gophers' game against Northwestern will appear either on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPN Plus. It is yet to be determined which of those networks will carry the game due to ESPN's coverage of the Major League Baseball playoffs. The Gophers' game against Michigan will be televised by ESPN. The Gophers will also appear on one of the ESPN networks later this season when they travel to Champaign, Ill., for an 11 a.m. kickoff against Illinois on Oct. 25.
