Despite loss, Gophers still ranked nationally

Minnesota's 44-38 loss to Michigan State put a serious dent in the Gophers' Big Ten title hopes. But according to the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll, the Gophers are still one of the best teams in the country. Minnesota heads to Illinois Saturday ranked No. 24 in the latest poll, released Sunday.

The Gophers are also one of seven Big Ten teams ranked in the top 25. Here is a look at where the rest of the Big Ten teams are ranked in both the USA Today/ESPN and Associated Press polls.
