Gopher grapplers fall to Iowa State, 19-18

The University of Minnesota wrestling team lost 19-18 to No. 2 Iowa State tonight in the Ice Dual at the Target Center. The Cyclones jumped out to a 16-0 lead before the Golden Gophers got on track, winning four of the meet's last five matches. Minnesota tallied bonus points in each of its wins, but it was not enough as the Maroon and Gold lost its second consecutive season-opening dual meet.
