• The Pac-10 and Big Ten are even in bowl games against each other over the last 10 years, 9-9.
• Oregon finished the season 8-4 overall with a 5-3 record in the Pac-10. Oregon head coach Mike Bellotti is in his 14th year as a head coach and his ninth with the Ducks (96-58-2 overall, 75-33-0 at Oregon).

• Oregon is 11-24 all-time against Big Ten teams.
• Oregon is ranked 38th offensively in the nation.
• This is the fourth meeting between the Gophers and Ducks, with Minnesota leading the series 2-1 (with wins in 1961 and 1975). Oregon beat Minnesota in the 1999 Sun Bowl, 24-20.
• Minnesota finished the season ranked 20th in the ESPN/USA Coaches’ Poll and 24th in the Associated Press poll. Oregon finished out of the top 25 in both polls.
• The Gophers are 3-5 all-time in bowl games.

• Minnesota has scored at least 20 point in 16 straight games, the longest streak in school history.
Laurence Maroney needs only 10 yards to reach 1,000 yards rushing for the season. That would make him and Marion Barber the only running back duo in the nation to each have 1,000 yards.
• The Gophers have had at least 240 yards rushing in 10 of their last 12 games.
