Ryan Amoroso leads Burnsville to title game

Ryan Amoroso of Burnsville (MN) High continued his dominance of Lake Conference rival Lakeville. He finished with 27 points and 17 rebounds in the Blaze's 62-46 win over the Panthers. The Marquette signee had 45 points and 20 rebounds in a regular-season meeting between the two teams.

Ryan Amoroso had 16 points and 10 rebounds at halftime as the Blaze held a 27-23 lead over the pesky Panthers. Lakeville had tied the score at 23-23 with a three-pointer from freshman Marcus Brumm. However, Burnsville scored the last four points of the half.

Amoroso made nine of 15 shots from the field and eight of 10 from the line. Eric Heisler, who is getting Division II and III looks, added 10 points and 10 boards.

Lakeville struggled with it shooting, making just 15 of 56 (26.8%) from the field and seven of 31 (22.6%) from three-point range. Burnsville dominated the glass, outrebounding Lakeville 49-25.
