Roderick Trice gets visit from Dan Monson

Minnesota head coach Dan Monson and assistant Vic Couch visited Roderick Trice, a 6-4 sophomore from Georgia Perimeter (GA) CC on Monday. Trice visited Minnesota April 16th and visited Baylor this past weekend. He also checked out Ohio State on April 9.

Roderick Trice led the Jaguars to their second straight appearance in the NJCAA Tournament and a 29-5 record this season. Trice was named Region 17 Player of the Year and made the NJCAA All-Tournament team in 2003. He averaged 20.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game this season.

Minnesota has five players signed to letters-of-intent, but there is speculation that one player might not qualify for next fall.

Miles Webb is still working on his core with the hopes of becoming eligible as a freshman.
