Michigan's Antonio Bass is one of the best pure athletes in the nation. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound quarterback from Jackson has drawn comparisons to Michael Vick and Bass is even left-handed like his idol.
"Oh yeah, I hear it every day," Bass said. "Everybody mentions Michael Vick when they're talking to me or about me.
"Michael Vick is an incredible athlete. If I'm mentioned with him it's an honor. I'm just out there trying to do my best."
Bass didn't always play quarterback at Jackson. When he was a freshman, he was brought up to play running back.
"During my freshman year, I played running back but our quarterback got hurt and my coach gave me the ball. I never looked back after that," Bass said.
Who are the schools at the top of Antonio's wish list?
"Michigan, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, Florida, Nebraska, Minnesota and Michigan State are all high on my list.
"I have offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Virginia Tech, Iowa, Maryland, Penn State, Illinois, Purdue, Nebraska, Florida, Western Michigan, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan and Syracuse.
"The three things I'm looking for in a school are education, I'd put coaching staff and teammates in the same category, and I'm also going to be looking for the best offense that suits my game," Bass said.
Antonio Bass says he'll be attending the University of Michigan camp this summer.
