Gopher baseball team prepares for World Series

The Minnesota Gopher baseball team has advanced to an NCAA Regional for the sixth time in seven seasons. The third-seeded Golden Gophers (38-21) will head to Fullerton, Calif., for the NCAA Regionals, where they will play second-seeded host Cal State Fullerton (36-20) in the second game on Friday, June 4 at 9 p.m. (CT).

First seeded Arizona State (40-16) will take on Pepperdine (28-30) in the first game at 5 p.m. (CT). There will be three games on Saturday, June 5, starting with the loser's bracket game at 1 p.m. (CT), the winners bracket game at 5 p.m. (CT) and the third game at 9 p.m. (CT). On Sunday, June 6, there will be games at 3 p.m. (CT) and 7 p.m. (CT).
