Kris Humphries is the 14th pick in the NBA Draft

Minnesota freshman forward Kris Humphries, who was College Basketball News' Freshman of the Year, was the 14th overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz. Humphries was one of three first-round picks for the team. He led the Big Ten in scoring and rebounding this season, averaging 21.7 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.

Kris Humphries was a third-team College Basketball News All-American. He has a pro body and has worked hard to improve his outside touch and free throw shooting. He needs to continue to improve his ballhandling and passing skills. Humphries measured at 6-9 1/4 without shoes and finished fourth in the testing at the recent Chicago pre-draft camp. He bench-pressed 185 pounds 22 times, tied for the most along with Emeka Okafor.
