Chase Mudd, a 6-foot-3, 215-pound outside linebacker from Maple Grove, Minnesota is a prospect to watch in 2004.
Mudd will be a three-year varsity starter this fall. He played safety as a sophomore and as a junior and will move to linebacker for his senior season.
"I'm being recruited as a linebacker," Mudd said. "So I'll be able to get some experience there this year and I'll also be able to show the colleges what I can do.
"I don't have any scholarships yet. I camped this summer at Wisconsin, Iowa State, Minnesota and Nebraska.
"My favorites are Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa State, Illinois, Indiana and Northern Illinois."
Chase had 85 tackles and two interceptions as a junior. He carries a 2.6 GPA in the classroom and he scored an 18 on his ACT. He also letters in track.
