A look at the Big Ten quarterbacks

The Big Ten will see a new look behind center this season as six of the projected top seven squads will have a new signal callers. The lone returning starters are Kyle Orton of Purdue, Matt LoVecchio from Indiana, Brett Basanez of Northwestern, Zack Mills from Penn State and Jon Beutjer of Illinois. The new starting quarterbacks for the other six teams could all be sophomores, which may mean some growing pains for the expected top teams in the conference.

Note- Illinois quarterbacks Jon Beutjer and Chris Pazan are both listed since they attempted more than ten passes per game played and are both still fighting for the starting job.
