Stock Way Up on Chris Dorner

Baraboo, Wisconsin's Chris Dorner looked super this summer on the camp circuit. Dorner even drew ohh's and ahh's at Northwestern's one day senior camp by jumping over a cornerback to make an acrobatic grab. At 6-foot-6 and 267-pounds, Dorner could be quite a force.

Chris Dorner, a 6-foot-6, 267-pound tight end from Baraboo, Wisconsin is extremely athletic.

He showed extremely light feet this summer and the ability to move for a big man.

If tight end doesn't work out, he'd be a very good guard because of his ability to run and change direction at the 2nd and 3rd levels.

"I don't have any offers yet," Chris Dorner said.

"Western Michigan and Northwestern called me during May and I camped at both of those schools.

"My favorites are Wisconsin, Northwestern, Western Michigan, Minnesota and Indiana.

"My uncle, Terry Stieve played for the Badgers and he went on to play in the NFL.

"I don't have a leader. I'm just looking for someone to give me an opportunity."

Just eye-balling Dorner in person and its hard to believe that he hasn't found anyone to give him that opportunity that he's looking for.

Chris is a solid 267-pounds and he can run. He has a ton of upside.

Dorner will be a three-year starter in 2004. He was named all-conference the past two seasons.
