WR Andy Metz Gets Midwest Interest

Andy Metz, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound wide receiver from Lakeville (MN) High, played in the shadow of All-State wide receiver Vinny Flury as a junior on Lakeville's state championship team. However, Metz has emerged as a top prospect in his own right as a senior. He has good size and speed and has attracted the attention of several teams, including Minnesota, after attending their football camp this summer. GoldenSports.Net caught up with Metz recently to find out the latest on his recruitment.

Andy Metz, who runs a 4.5 40 and can bench press 225 pounds, caught a 1-yard touchdown pass to help lead the Panthers to a 21-7 win over Lake Conference rival Burnsville Thursday night. Metz also ran track for Lakeville, participating in the 4 x 200 relay.
