Greg Eslinger, a 6-foot-3, 285-pound junior center from Bismarck, is majoring in Inter-College Program and carries a 3.57 cumulative grade point average. Eslinger is a candidate for the Rimington Award for the top center in the country. He was a Third-Team All-American by the Associated Press last year, becoming the second All-American center coached by Glen Mason (Ben Hamilton). Eslinger was also a first team All-Big Ten selection by the coaches and the media last season.
Defensive end Mark Losli, a 6-foot-6, 295-pound junior from Spring Lake Park, is majoring in Finance/Management Info. Systems and carries a 3.67 cumulative grade point average.
Dominique Sims, a 6-foot-1, 230-pound linebacker from Minneapolis (MN) DeLaSalle, is majoring in Animal Science and carries a 3.23 cumulative grade point average.
District V includes all Division I-A and I-AA football teams in Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Eslinger. Losli and Sims will advance to the national Academic All-America ballot.
