Ohio Standout Keith Massey Commits to Gophers

Keith Massey, a 6-foot-1, 192-pound wide receiver/cornerback from Columbus (Ohio) Brookhaven, has committed to Minnesota after visiting the campus this past weekend. Massey received a home visit with Minnesota head coach Glen Mason and made his commitment known after the visit. He and his brother Dominic Jones, who had previously committed to Pittsburgh, will both play for Minnesota next season.

Keith Massey had one tackle, four assisted tackles and three pass breakups to lead the Bearcats to a 42-21 win over Avon Lake in the Division II state championship. Massey visited Minnesota along with Bearcat teammates Dominic Jones and Alex Daniels on an official visit to Minnesota last weekend. Daniels will visit Oklahoma before making his decision.

Massey had six interceptions and caught six passes for 209 yards with two touchdowns for the Bearcats, who finished 15-0. The Bearcats have pressured quarterbacks into 72-for-241 passing for 949 yards with four touchdowns and 29 interceptions leading into the championship game.
