The University of Minnesota football team's spring game is set for this Saturday, April 16 at 11 a.m., at the Metrodome. Admission is free and doors to the Metrodome will open at 10 a.m. Tailgating and parking for the game will be available for $5 in the Washington Avenue lots across from the Old Spaghetti Factory.
Following the game, there will be free mini-footballs and interactive games for kids as well as an autograph session with the Gopher football players on the field. Fans will also be able to pick up their 2005 Gopher football posters and schedule magnets. The Gopher football coaches' wives will be sponsoring a cake walk and there will also be Gopher football ticket prizes available.
